Job Folbert of The House Of Business was extremely helpful in focusing our strategy for and implementing necessary changes to almost all of our many websites for vocalists. He helped out with advice, redesign and new builds of community sites, blogs, storefronts, directory sites, affiliate programs, forum sites, email campaigning, databases, mobile sites and integration of social media such as Twitter, Facebook and other third party services including Google Analytics. All of this at an incredible value. Job is a great project manager who will step in any time to do anything required. He takes a personal interest in your business and success. Job feels a project is not complete, until it is completed to the satisfaction of his client. Another aspect I really appreciate about contracting with Job is he produces very professional research on possible solutions for your company and presents them in a very organized and cohesive manner which makes it easier for you to select a solution for your business. Job not only does the work, but he does the research too, its really great. I recommend his services and The House Of Business to anyone that wants to feel confident in something getting done well with no disappointments.

Shopify: a good middle to high end option for professional marketing and brick and mortar integration

Flexibility & Professionalism: it can be expanded with addon modules that some other carts don't have including: integrating the site with your real life brick and mortar store, professional marketing programs, several bookkeeping modules and more. So if your online store should be part of a business in the real world, perhaps you should look into Shopify. It also has good options for customizing the look and feel.

Overview

The basic Shopify setup is almost barren but you can customize it with a range of addons. The addons are arranged in an interface that can wow visitors with it's App Store like appearance. Many of these addons are standard in other cart systems, appear to be free but are in fact depending on a subscription with a third party, are only free for a limited time although advertised as free or are professional features which are not that interesting to small business owners. If you are in a position to spend more then a few hundred dollars a month on the building and marketing of your store and expect larger numbers of orders this could be the system for you.
